Our founders, Dr. Angie Gebert and Dr. Nicholas Maczyszyn have been leading the Optimal Heath team. Creating an environment of genuine caring and support for every member they meet and using a common sense, no nonsense, clinically validated approach to helping members achieve their health and wellbeing goals, it’s no surprise that thousands of families on the gold coast have been enjoying the many benefits that having a healthy spine and nervous system offer for over TWO decades.

DR. NICK has been a chiropractor for 17 years. He graduated from RMIT University’s prestigious 5 year double degree in 1999. Dr. Nick has always cared for individuals and families with a passion. With an approach focused on solutions, Nick's purpose is to help people enjoy their live – filled with health, vitality, purpose and unlimited potential. After building a thriving practice in Burleigh Waters, the demand for care from the community and number of families Dr. Nick took care of required the practice move to a larger custom built, state of the art centre in Varsity Lakes, where Optimal Health GC has been located for over 10 years.
A keen cyclist, AFL Cats fan and awesome dad, Nick loves bringing his strong positive, dedicated and passionate energy to Optimal Health GC and loves to serve his members and greater community with a no nonsense solution oriented approach to health and wellbeing. He strives for excellence in everything he does and wants to help people live a vibrant purposeful life.

DR. SALLY began her chiropractic journey 25 years ago after witnessing the benefits of Chiropractic Care first hand she was inspired to commence studies at RMIT in Victoria and Graduated with a Masters Degree of Clinical Chiropractic. She has also completed her Diplomat in Chiropractic Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics and enjoys working with pre/post natal mothers, babies, children and watching them thrive and reach their milestones.
Dr Sally is a mum to 2 kids aged 8 and 6 years old. Both her kids were checked at birth and enjoy being active together as a family.
Dr Sally has a passion for providing gentle and effective care to families and individuals within her community and has a keen interest in working with families, athletes and pregnant mothers.

DR. ANGIE is the founder of Optimal Health GC. Dr Angie graduated from RMIT University’s prestigious 5 year double degree in 1998. Having practiced for more than 17 years, and literally helping and supporting thousands of people improve their health, Angie really enjoys adding value to members lives and contributing to making a significant and lasting positive impact on the community.
Angie especially cherishes working with women, pregnant mothers and children and to see them grow and develop and thrive - that really floats her boat. Always innovative and honouring the body’s inbuilt intelligence, Angie is committed to empowering and inspiring people to make sustainable lifelong improvements in their lifestyle and health. Being a mumma to 2 precious and adorable children has allowed Angie to authentically and lovingly help more families navigate their way through a healthy parenthood and she barracks for the CATS also.

EXPERIENCE
1. YOUR FIRST VISIT
WE VALUE YOUR HEALTH - NO GUESSWORK, WE TEST. After your consultation with one of our highly skilled and caring consultants and chiropractors, we will perform a complete spine and nervous system evaluation, including postural, neurologic, physical and range of motion examinations. Nothing will be done in our centre without your consent and we will explain to you the purpose of conducting each evaluation.
Your specific condition may require us to take spinal x-rays to get a full diagnostic assessment of your spine and leave nothing to chance or guesswork. X-rays also help our doctors rule out any other serious conditions and will assist them in developing the most effective recommendations for you. Optimal Health GC offer a state of the art digital x-ray facility onsite, allowing us to take exceptional x-rays onsite.
2. YOUR REPORT AND RESULTS
A PRIVATE CONSULTATION with your Chiropractor will be scheduled, a detailed explanation of your posture, other tests and x-rays, and most importantly how we can help you. That whole process can take up to 45 minutes. You will receive a hard copy and a disc of your results that are yours to keep. Your Chiropractor will cover the best recommendations for your care, and including which products, services and inspiring health events will offer you the greatest results possible. Your Chiropractor will also advise on the many options you can choose from and will assist in continuing to keep you and your family well with ongoing wellness and supportive care.

Every single cell tissue organ and muscle on your body receives either a direct nerve supply or is under control of the central nervous system via chemical messengers produced by glands and other cells.
